Carriers have advised Metapack that this will be a problem and you should consult your carriers to ensure that this is understood and made clear. Carriers might be able to support a workaround in their systems, or they will ask you to change how information is provided and exclude VAT.
Yes. You should advise your carriers and change your integration with the Shipping API. Failure to split out the charge might result in incorrect taxes (or duties) being applied. There might also be an impact on any checks determining whether the IOSS has been applied correctly.
