This topic shows you how to generate the label for an allocated shipment.
If you have just allocated the order via the Options tab in accordance with Allocating an individual Consignment, then you can go straight to Single label generation.
However, if you are just about to start a new Delivery Manager session, having allocated the shipment in a previous session, then go through Preparation first.
Log into the Delivery Manager Delta environment using either the Administrator Login and Password or one of the user accounts that were created:

Click Home and then select the Allocated status, followed by Search, to display the orders that have been allocated to carriers but which have not yet had labels printed:
If you do not need to view the consignment again, simply select the tick box to the left of the consignment, click the Print icon to the right, and make a selection in the Print dialog to generate the label. The status automatically changes to Ready to Manifest. The process is then complete.
However, if you wish to view the consignment prior to generating the label, click on the required allocated consignment, which then opens under the Delivery tab, and proceed as follows:
-
Click Print Label(s) in the top right hand corner of the screen:
-
A Print dialog is displayed to allow you to select the required printer/output format.
-
Click Print to output the label, e.g.
-
Verify that the label has been output correctly, and, if so, click Mark as Printed in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Note
The status changes to Mark Ready to Manifest in the top right hand corner of the screen. As we are at the test phase, there is no need to click this.
If the associated carrier service is not yet live, then a manifest will not be printed, even if you do click this button.
-
To redisplay the order at its current status, click Home and then select the Ready to Manifest status, followed by Search.
