Dependencies

Delivery Intelligence uses the Tableau engine for report manipulation.

Tableau is supported by all major browsers.

Note

For the OS and browser restrictions, refer to Tableau's requirements.

You need to use a browser from a desktop or laptop, as opposed to a mobile device (as Delivery Intelligence has not been optimised for mobile screens).

Note

Although this document covers the Tableau report workbooks used by Delivery Intelligence, it is not intended to be a comprehensive user guide to the Tableau product itself, and only covers the report content specifically developed by Metapack.

Metapack continues to invest in the development and upgrade of Delivery Intelligence, with new Tableau workbooks being added based on market needs.

Caution

In line with the above, we may, at our discretion, choose to provide additional report content or changes in line with our own SaaS release methodology. Therefore, by using the product, you consent to being in a multi-tenancy environment.

Data sources

Delivery Intelligence relies on despatch and shipment data sourced from Metapack's shipping platform, and you need to be a shipping platform customer to have the shipments reflected in Delivery Intelligence reports.

Likewise, you will not be able to use Delivery Intelligence if the shipment data does not originate from Metapack's shipping platform.

In order for Metapack's tracking products to be able to successfully populate Delivery Intelligence, we rely on tracking data provided by external carrier systems. We can make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of such data, as we do not hold direct contracts with the carriers.

Where a package is shipped on a tracked service, and the carrier system is unavailable to provide data, then Delivery Intelligence compliance reports will indicate that the package is missing scans, and the SLA reports will indicate that the package is either not within the carrier network or is still in transit.
