This article explains Consolidated Clearance, its benefits, its requirements, and how it works. See our Consolidated Clearance Product Description for a high-level overview.
What is Consolidated Clearance?
Metapack's Consolidated Clearance solution helps shippers save costs, streamline operations, reduce delays, and improve shipping efficiency across economic borders. It provides a unified process for creating and allocating consignments from a shipping location to a specific destination by carrier service, importer of records, and point of entry.
How Does It Work?
The solution manages the allocation and creation of labels and additional documentation, enabling parcels to move seamlessly across borders. Metapack has developed a technology and data solution that spans consolidation carriers, allowing customers to create and allocate shipments without managing virtual boxes or mother shipments.
Metapack manages the consolidation identifiers, reducing paperwork and process overhead.
