In addition to the global filters previously described, the report provides the filters and switches highlighted in the following screenshot:
Note
The Recipient City and Recipient Province filters are not currently available.
Display Type
The Display switch allows you to change the type of content displayed in the graph:
You can switch the display between the absolute package counts (the Manifested Parcels default), the Weight of the parcels in kg, or their Cubic Volume (i.e. volume in cubic metres).
Date View
The Date View switch allows you to set the time period for the graph:
You can switch between showing the package counts/weights/volumes by ISO week (the Year-Week default), and showing them by Year, Year-Month, Year-Day or Weekday.
These filters allows you to limit the display to particular cities and provinces/districts.
Tip
With a large dataset, it is often first advisable to limit the geographical area using either trade lanes or the market slicer, and then use Keep Only to limit the dataset to these selections to make it more manageable.
This filter allows you to set the city for which content is to be displayed;
All cities in the current dataset are selected by default. To select the one(s) for which you wish to display data, first deselect All (so that (None) appears in the filter). Then select the one(s) required. To select a particular city, type part or all of the name at the top of the filter box (to restrict the display). Then tick it.
Once you click away from the box, the graph, trade lanes and weekly, 'service group' and market 'slicers' are updated automatically in line with your selection.
Recipient ProvinceThis filter allows you to set the district(s) or province(s) for which content is to be displayed;
All provinces/districts in the current dataset are selected by default. To select the one(s) for which you wish to display data, first deselect All (so that (None) appears in the filter). Then select the one(s) required. To select a particular province/district, type part or all of the name at the top of the filter box (to restrict the display). Then tick it.
Once you click away from the box, the graph, trade lanes and weekly, 'service group' and market 'slicers' are updated automatically in line with your selection.
The combination of one or more of the above switches allows you to quickly see when your peak times are for different volume types.
For example, the following graph shows the ISO weeks in which peak cubic volumes were shipped to Battersea in London.
For example, the following graph shows the weekdays on which peak cubic volumes were shipped:
