Parcel Filters

This section lists the common filters, available at the top of each report, that allow you to filter the dataset in accordance with type/origin of the parcels.

The Brand filter does not apply.

The Brand filter allows you to display data for a particular territory or subsidiary (depending on how your Brands are setup).

The Warehouse filter allows you to filter the data according to origin warehouse.

The Carrier filter allows you to filter the data by carrier. Once you click away from the filter, the trade lanes and 'service group' and market 'slicers' are updated automatically in line with your selection.

Note

The Actual/Percentage control is a 'switch' rather than a 'filter', as, rather than reducing the dataset, it changes the report view to either absolute parcel counts or relative percentages of the total parcel count.

The Cash on Delivery flag does not apply.

The Cash on Delivery flag has been implemented as a Boolean indicator. You can select True to show data for just COD deliveries, False to show data for just non-COD deliveries, or All (the default) to find all deliveries (whether COD or not).

The Letter Size flag does not apply.

The Letter Size flag has also been implemented as a Boolean indicator. You can select True to show only the data for deliveries by mail carriers (as opposed to parcel couriers). Select False to show only the data for parcel couriers (as opposed to mail carriers), or All (the default) to show data for all packages (regardless of whether or not they were delivered through a letter box).

Note

Mail carrier services conform to the size, weight and content restrictions associated with delivery through a letter box. They do not require a courier and are generally more economical than parcel services,

The Hazardous Materials flag does not apply.

The Hazardous Materials flag has also been implemented as a Boolean indicator. You can select True to show data for just deliveries of hazardous materials, False to show data for just non-hazardous deliveries, or All (the default) to find all deliveries (whether hazardous or not).

The Parcel Weight is used to filter shipments by weight band (in grams). The bands have been defined as 0-249 grams, 250-499 grams, 500-749 grams, 750-999 grams, 1000-1499 grams, 1500-1999 grams, 2000-2999 grams, 3000-4999 grams, 5000-9999 grams, or greater than 10,000 grams.

The Parcel Volume is used to filter shipments by volumetric band (in cubic metres). The bands have been defined as 0-0.25m³, 0.25-0.50m³, 0.50-1m³, and greater than 1m³.
